Made this image to submit for the cover art. I have this in various colors, B&W, you name it. The eyes are in there too! haha

I like this one, however in my opinion those eyes can be placed in a better position, with a different size or aspect ratio.
but the most important thing is to make sure the main picture doesn't have a copyright problem.
in this case you can goto for example www.flickr.com and choose a picture, and ask the pic owner for the permission.
and by the way there's no grin on angel's face
any ideas people ?

Okay guys, just to give you an update, recording and mixing is almost done, I just have to do the exams for this semester (end of January), by that time I will record the vocals, and will take it to mastering studio for the final step.
I hope Darryl upload the vocals till begining of February, otherwise I will do the vocals.

well, i'm still trying to learn how to use the software, it's a steep learning curve.

well you know, when you move to world of digital recording, you are somehow condemned to learn more details, which I believe suck for the person who just wants deal with recording and not further.
anyhow, once you learned how to record a good quality demo that convinces you, and you dont know how to mix and master it, you can just send me your Wave files and I will do the next steps.

the most Important part is when you record a line (guitar,drums,etc) they must not clip :

Yeah sorry about that, I've been here and have meant to update, just been some frustrating nonsense going on as of recent.

I got a microphone but I'll be exchanging it. Funny how digital recorders are supposedly garbage in general, yet there isn't much difference in between recording with or without the microphone! Well, to the EAR anyway, might be some tech stuff that would come across better that I'm not picking up. I was just surprised that I tried recording some music for several seconds, which the recorder isn't very good in doing, but it's WORSE with the mic attached!! Very strange, as I could use a better all-purpose mic (like with that gaming expo I went to, for instance, it'd be nice to capture sounds better that way if I can). I should have it exchanged by next week but even if I don't I have the lyrics here for "Sleeper", I'm about to print them out and I can still record and send them in finally with either mic. This one still seems to be ok for vocals at least.

I'll get into more details later and bump/answer some previous posts that I've meant to over the last few weeks, like the lamenting of Krankster giving up the guitar Was this your first, or one of several instruments? Because it took me a while to settle: when first messing around with instruments at a rally in the middle school auditorium for those of us wanting to take band, I did well trying out the coronet (hah, funny typo there, I accidentally typed 'coroner' by accident [seriously!]), but I was about to get braces and the guy suggested I get something with a bigger mouthpiece because it was very hard for most kids to play the coronet with braces. Thought the tuba was too big and too much trouble, so I settled for the trombone. Did that for a few years, then got bored with it.

I took piano for a while years before that but gave up once the lessons were getting too hard for me.

However, drums were what did it for me once U2's live album was big on MTV, and I found myself tapping to everything, as I had never really thought about the drums before. So years went by and that never went away. I eventually got my set but most of it's gone now, I'll eventually get another one though.

So sometimes it takes a few instruments before you find the one that's 'right', I guess that's what I'm saying, or in my case anyway.

Or I hope that something gets Krankster back into playing again.

Well anyway, that's one old post down I meant to answer a while back, I'll get back to more later

I took a couple of piano lessons when i was 7 or 8, then in jr. high i played trumpet, then switched to baritone after i got braces, it was around the 9th grade that i picked up guitar and bass.

What's new?
I was quite busy with ..umm..evrything, like finally got my driving's licence, and bought a car which was a big relief, did the final exams for this semester, and so on… .
anyways, I'm still working on the vocals, been recording it with all the styles I could, but still not happy with the result.
I have to confess that I am absolutely the worst singer on the planet, doh!
so I think I will keep trying , in the meantime hoping that somebody helps me with it.

I hope Krankster's internet comes alive again and gives us an update if there's any, and oh by the way I'd like to know what song(s) he's gonna choose.

on the other hand I was thinking about doing the second song, any suggestions?

Oh, I could send you the vocals I did if you want, although like you said in trying different ways and all, I couldn't really get them the way I *really* wanted them either, since, like I said, I don't live by myself and can't spend time trying to do them and having someone butt in and asking what I'm doing, nor do I have a soundproof room to do them in either ;D I just saw where you hadn't been on in several days so that's why I didn't bother posting about it.

Congrats on the driver's license and car though, that should make things easier for you.
