Not a word from Sanctuary records yet, send-ed them another E-mail. From next week I'll send them an E-mail every day, until I get an answer...   I got an answer: Hi Edo, You need to discuss with someone in the Netherlands/EU who can speak to this. In the USA covers can be licensed via the "compulsory" mechanical license. But I do not know how it works where you live. All the best, Jon  Damn, back at square one.... I know that in the Netherlands its regulated by "Buma-Stemra", but I'm afraid that they don't cover an international effort like ours. I send them an E-mail about that.... |

Good, great, awesome to see you are so up to this one.  Hope everything will come to place and we'll have and kick ass tribute album soon.
I may not be responding a lot (not sure if I can hel with anything), but I surely am watching this topic.
Hey, do you have any idea for the cover, or?

Haven't really thought about that. Maybe a tombstone with the text: I'm memoriam: Coroner Marquis Marky Ron Royce Tommy T. Baron 1985 - 1995 The album could be called: A death cult tribute, Vol. I (<-- Suggesting there will be more to come...) Maybe in the back-ground in the clouds the eyes from the album Coroner. Wait just for a moment. I haven't had contact yet with Andy Siegrist about the name for the Web-page. Or shall we turn it around and just call it "The death cult lodge" and assume that if we are not allowed to use it we will hear it...  |

I was talking about the tombstone idea and the title 'A Death Cult Tribute: Vol.1' haha.
But yeah, I'm holding off with doing any Myspace-y stuff until we have a firm idea of what we want.

That's what I meant as well  Thanks for the complement. ;D I was thinking about the back-side to put a HUGE vortex on it in shade and little vortexes (-y?) in front of the bandname/project - songname. BTW If anyone wants to put in there contribution, you don't have to make a carbon copy of a song, just make it your own interpretation. |

I can try it with the cover.
Was thinking and something with a twisting of the masterpiece three-headed skull, but I have to sit with pen and paper to do something, which is hard with my session right now. Or we may just put the original on the top of the tombstone, can we do that?
Also, will it be a Photo Shopped stuff or original painting? We may try to twist something like the cover of the first album, but I was also thinking the black band (is that the right word in English?) in the left side of the covers from the late albums should be included. It is also like a trademark.
Well, those are my thoughts for now.
