we all hope it'll change soon! SHIFTER is just surprising! I so wonder HOW would they would actually sound after all this time... I would love their new stuff no matter what.
I'm also alot into their "industrial" attitude, their DER MUSSOLINI cover was plain COOLNESS! And I so much love their experimenting so, no way: I'm dying for a new CORONER already!
fingers crossed!

MONEY MONEY MONEY. If the business was lucrative enough, then anything is possible. Don't forget they've been out of the industry and made their lives around their current positions. Look at Celtic Frost. It's been quite hard for them to get back in, especially with how experimental they are.
Coroner is totally different. Their brand of music is known. Their consistency is known. And their welcome from the fans is known, I'm sure. Hopefully this will spark a few things and light a fire under their asses to go a step at a time and see what happens.
On a reunion note, I just got "Tempo of the Damned" by Exodus. This is a takeback to the old pre Capital days when they were raw and on top of their game. Not all reunions have to be cheesy. This one is as good as anything they did early in their careers, but better.
We didn't get enough Coroner, for whatever our reasons are, so it is time. I'll make the drive from New York to Chicago if they do it. If they're in, so am I. Get the idea ?

Take also the forthcoming Candlemass release...
They have recorded an album like it should be done, like it used to be done. 10 days in a classic studio working on songs that have been written to become part of a whole album.
I think the feel for the old ways is returning, because although there are great records out there, the truly classic releases seem to have dried up.
We need bands that can deliver REAL albums, with a real feel! ;D
*cough* Coroner *cough*

Well, what can I add?? Coroner was(is??)the perfect band to me. I was lucky enough to see them live 4 times and meet them on 3 occasions, and they were just great(how many bands offer you a beer and invite you backstage at the end of the gig??Thanks Marky!!). If they get back together,it will just be magic!!!! Having said that,I'm sure hey must have very good reasons not to,but I'm like all of you guys,I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

The new Candlemass is fantastic! 'Witches' is a great track! This album may even surpass Nightfall.
Fave Exodus album is Fabulous Disaster. Although I do also love Pleasures of the Flesh.

I'm in a favourite advice at 5000 % that CORONER sould reform, play gigs, realise that fans didn't forget them (especially in PARIS FRANCE - sorry girls and guys i live near PARIS but I'm sure that CORONER has fans everywhere in the world !) then decide to record a brand fuckin' new CD (what about a signature with SPV in germany for example !) and come once again to kick our kuckin' ass !
your advice about that idea girls and guys ?

Coroner should schedule a whole tour, possibly an European tour also, since I believe heavy & thrash metal is still very popular here! Testament are reforming with the original line-up and they'll play dates here in the Old Europe...people here still dress like time's stopped way back 12 years ago, and the following is massive. Is great to see that this board is still alive, keep it up!

I agree that after rehearsing and working out some of the rustiness, they should at least do a couple of interviews or appearances to get themselves out there a bit.
Unfortunately, it's been close to a couple of months now with no word, so I'm fearing that this may not be something that we'll see. I do hold out hope that they are rehearsing and doing just what I mentioned above before they make any decisions. Or maybe it's taking longer to get together, with their busy lives.
Who knows. But the silence sucks.

First off I'm glad to find this forum. Good to find a place like this. I am very psyched at the prospect of Coroner getting back together. I totally understand if they do not. But it will be extremely cool if they do.
