I've never found another band like Coroner.
Coroner was one of those bands that are truly unique (such as skyclad and few others) and always had bad luck and no support from their labels.
Tom is my fave guitarist and a major inspiration. He's pretty skilled, masters melodies and riffing like no one, and i like the special way he shapes weird atmospheres such as the break in 'divine step'.
Like everybody here, i really hope they reform definitely some day.
I don't like waste of talent. They should reunite permanently and release another album. I 'm pretty sure it would surpass all of their previous releases and would surprise us with some weird unexpected elements.
Count me in to support them!

Please reform, one of my favorite bands, and Tommy was one of my biggest influences, Hope they tour and come to Austin Texas.

Just one word for it: GREATNESS. I'm just CRAZY with it!
I think that CORONER is beyond everything, among with few others.
I fell in love with their stuff, GRIN is something unbelievable, their musical progression have been just IMPRESSING.
I've not a long time fan, I've discovered them recently - but I've been dreaming about this chance ever since I got into them
I hope they will seriously consider this chance to reform and teach some other lesson in music to all of the metalheads around.
One last thing: a big THANX to Carole for keeping this place up, I know for sure that she's one of the truly greatest fans around and she worked her ass out for all of us fans too.
CHEERS from Italy to her and to CORONER; one of the greatest band EVER.

I've never found another band like Coroner. Coroner was one of those bands that are truly unique (such as skyclad and few others) Dude!! You kick ass! ;D I've got Skyclad down on a thread (somewhere in either Other Metal Bands or the General forums) in regards to freaking people out with "different" metal bands. Introducing people to a band that combines metal with folk makes their jaw drop REAL quick if they've never heard it before! ;D

Hello, I'm from Belgium ! I discovered Coroner with the release of " No More Color ". My first reaction was to buy all their previour records ! ;D I liked it very much and I became a big fan of the Band. Unfortunately, I never saw them live... so they have to reform !!! so I will realise one of my dreams...

Not only that, but it almost ended everyone's friendship in the band as well. Those are just two things. I think things are a little more complicated than that, or else they would have gotten back together by now (it's been over 10 years!). After all, I get the feeling the guys are a bit busy as it is. True, I'd love for them to get back togther as well, but I don't think we're getting the full picture as to "why?" From the interview I had with Marky in 2001, which is posted on the site, this is what he had to say about a possible come back and their friendship: 1. First, the question all the fans are holding their breath for: is there any chance at all of Coroner reuniting someday? (either as Coroner, or as a brand new band.) Is there any desire from you, Tommy and/or Ron in doing this?Marky: to be honest, we never talked seriously about that. to me personally, it was always important to create something new, not warming up stuff i did in the past. on the other side i miss touring a lot, i'm sure tommy and ron as well. lets say, all three uf us are still best friends so everything is possible.19. Have you maintained contact/friendship over the years with the other guys (Tommy and Ron) since the split?Marky: of course. i think we're better friends than ever before, so thats why we might come back together one day...
Marky: here i would like to thank all the fans around the world for being so loyal all these years. thanks!Link to the full interview: www.designvortex.com/coroner/interviews/int_marky2001.htmWe want you back guys! I think the metal scene is more than ready for Coroner now!

Anyone who heard Coroner knows how special those three mysterious characters were together.

This would definitely be best news of the year (or decade, century, etc.) if it really happens. I'm quite sure they would be able to find a good contract this time maybe even with Nuclear blast or Century Media ( CM's president , Marco Barbieri is a fan, as he mentioned in one of the interviews on this site that he'd done with the guys a decade ago!)

They'd better self release through the net in my opinion.
Noone needs labels nowadays.

I´m for a reunion too. I saw Coroner back in ´90 when they opened for Watchtower. What a great, fantastic and unforgettable concert.

The new stuff on their S/T album was just INCREDIBLE! NO QUESTION it was great stuff. Toward the end of my junior year in college my friend Jeff and I heard that a new Coroner album was coming out soon. We could NOT wait! I was in Europe when it was released and didn't get a chance to buy it until I got back home. The next day I went and picked up a copy, heard "The Favorite Game" and "Shifter" and I was floored. Flawless playing, songwriting, everything. I checked for any kind of U.S. tour...no luck. And not long after that, that was it. But, that may change. We'll see.
