Yeah, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome-type symptoms really suck. ...man, sure do! I know a couple of people who've been affected by CFS & it's far tougher than many people realise. I genuinely hope it goes well for ya Damn straight: "metal until I die!" Damn Straight!! Yeah, I'm pretty open-minded...once you get a chance to check out more of the site, in the general discussions, or off-topic, or whatever Carole named it, I've got a "Ever freak someone out with your music collection?" thread, in regards to non-metal stuff that I have that I think you'd be surprised at ...checkin' it... it's the one with the demon on the cover... ...I've got the full Therion collection. The one with the demon on it is 'Theli', & it's awesome! 'SiriusB/Lemuria' is the newest, & it's back to the old school Therion, but with top-notch production. Christopher Johnsen sticks some death metal vocals on a couple of tracks (the first time since 'Theli'!), & something like 170 artists in total performed on it!

...man, sure do! I know a couple of people who've been affected by CFS & it's far tougher than many people realise. I genuinely hope it goes well for ya Thanks...should be getting an improvement on it soon... ...I've got the full Therion collection. The one with the demon on it is 'Theli', & it's awesome! No it isn't, I meant Lepaca Kliffoth! (Actually dug up the magazine with the interview and looked.) 'SiriusB/Lemuria' is the newest, & it's back to the old school Therion, but with top-notch production. Christopher Johnsen sticks some death metal vocals on a couple of tracks (the first time since 'Theli'!), Wow, nice they went back to their roots! But Therion has changed and changed their sound and incorporated all kinds of stuff into their music over the years... & something like 170 artists in total performed on it! Holy crap, how'd they manage that? I severely doubt they were able to pay them all, even if at only penny wages!

No it isn't, I meant Lepaca Kliffoth! (Actually dug up the magazine with the interview and looked.) There's too many damn demons!! I was thinking of this one: 'Lepaca Kliffoth' (1995) has only got a couple of operatic songs, and the dark bits are weedier than on 'Theli' (1996). 'Lepacca' was a landmark release (the song 'The Beauty in Black' was unique at the time), but 'Theli' delivered the real evil goods! The song 'Invocation of Naamah' is total dark thrash class!! I've gone a bit off topic here! I'll carry on down in the other zone

There's too many damn demons!! (laughs!) I was thinking of this one: Ah HA HA HA! That's just a wee bit silly looking, if you ask me Strange, I've never seen that one though...but then, I'm not real familiar with the band anyway. 'Lepacca' was a landmark release (the song 'The Beauty in Black' was unique at the time) I think that was the song I heard the clip from... I've gone a bit off topic here! I doubt it matters; there's only one forum I know of where the headmaster gets all whiny about it, but then he's pretty anal and has taken the site down time and time again to change it, loses all the posts, and then wonders why people won't come back...

I thought i should copy my first post on this forum to the right thread, so here it is:
I definately still love Coroner.
I've been a fan since seeing the 'Masked Jackal' clip on T.V. here in Australia when I was a teenager...
My fave album is 'Grin', it is in fact my fave EVER metal album, so beautifully intricate, dark, flowing, well produced and ahead of its time, I can't believe how underrated it is. Ah well, people do tend to like shit I suppose....
I thankfully managed to see the band live when I was living in England in '93, at the Underworld. It was a bit of a disaster, everything was running late & they only ended up getting to play 4 songs because Annihilator wouldn't shorten their set at all (BASTARDS!!), but I still treasure the fact that I got to see them perform. The 4 songs they played (2 off Mental V. & 2 off Grin) were absolutely mind blowing, the sound was perfect & they played so tightly that I couldn't believe it...... *sigh*

I thought i should copy my first post on this forum to the right thread, aka "Post Count +1" I definately still love Coroner. It's funny, after I found this place and sent in a buttload of Coroner stuff that Carole didn't have up, that's pretty much all I've been listening since in the last month. I'd forgotten how great they were (please forgive me, metal forefathers, for I have sinned...). So count me in as another one who still loves 'em too Ah well, people do tend to like shit I suppose.... Yep...pop/commercial metal can bite my American ass. Granted, I still hear some here and there that I think is ok, but the crushing black/death underground's far better! I thankfully managed to see the band live when I was living in England in '93, at the Underworld. It was a bit of a disaster, everything was running late & they only ended up getting to play 4 songs because Annihilator wouldn't shorten their set at all (BASTARDS!!) Sheez...from what I've heard from Annihilator, they were a good band, but (shakes head)...they should've let the BETTER band play longer (Coroner)!!! Oh well... BTW, Stn, great handle ;D Makes me think of Married...with Children: Marcie (to Al, of course): You sir, are satan's toe jam!
