SLAYER Drummer Lays Down Tracks For Two FANTOMAS Albums, Contemplates New GRIP INC. CD - Apr. 4, 2003 SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo has finished recording the drum tracks for two FANTOMAS records, according to his official web site. The two albums, which will be released separately, will surface later in the year through Ipecac Records. In related news, Lombardo's early-'90s project GRIP INC. will possibly begin recording on their fourth album later this year. Vocalist Gus Chambers and guitarist Waldemar Sorychta have been working on new material for the follow-up to 1999's "Solidify" in Germany and are in the process of submitting ideas to Dave for evaluation.
SLAYER have begun writing material for the follow-up to 2001's "God Hates Us All" (which featured Paul Bostaph on drums), due in early 2004.

WOOHOO! ;D Oh, let's hope they actually do it! You got me addicted to Grip Inc, and I MUST have more! I can't believe they've changed their mind again! We'll never know what to expect with these guys... At least we'll have the new Soilwork album to listen to in the meantime... (dreaming of going to a Soilwork / Grip Inc. show someday... :::sigh:
