Thanks to maskedjackal700 for the inspiration, I thought I'd put this up. I'm not much into butterflies, but this one was pretty neat looking when I got a photo of it in the last year or so. Didn't seem to be in real good shape though but at least I was able to capture it. The gray was a bit cooler looking in person though and didn't come out as well as it should have. I'll put up some other stuff later.

^Cool! It seems amazing to see kangaroos in real life but then we don't have them here. yeah somewhere lost in germany I just found this trees and the grass have a sinister feeling which I like. It's like a witch would spell curses there or something haha. You never know unless some band writes a song about it! made this pic in Switzerland at a park 2 weeks ago. There was a small river which was fantastic but i didn't have pics unfortunately. Looks like they made a nice path up to it, at least. As far as the pics go, the first two are from an owl that was in our pine tree over 10 years ago. There were two of them and they hung out for a bit, putting on quite a show for us. The last one is from about five years back or something. This one was pretty close, in the garden less than 10 feet away. You don't see them during the day too often. Attachments:

Nice owls, don't see them too often. Kangaroos are common in the drier inland country. Farmers consider them a pest for several reasons. We have Wallabies that come up into our backyard and eat our garden! We live on the edge of a forest and see lots of wildlife here. Lots of different birds, snakes and lizards. Possums & rats!

Nice owls, don't see them too often. I was lucky on the during the day shot, as a cardinal kept on making noise for the longest, so I went out to see what the deal was. Also with the sun waning it was difficult to get a shot of it with the long shadows, but I got several though. Kangaroos are common in the drier inland country. Farmers consider them a pest for several reasons. We have Wallabies that come up into our backyard and eat our garden! Oh no! I don't know much about them but I imagine how annoying that is. They can be interesting but a pain then! We live on the edge of a forest and see lots of wildlife here. Lots of different birds, snakes and lizards. Possums & rats! That's pretty much like it is here, minus the forest part. Your possums probably look different. Ours are ugly (not one of ours) And as far as the attachments go, I like woodpeckers. They're nature's headbangers Two of them are the Piliated Woodpecker, which, if the Ivory Billed Woodpecker is indeed extinct (it might not be), then they're THE largest woodpecker in my country, being a few feet tall. The last one is a Sapsucker, which is a lot smaller.

I really hope to make it to Australia someday and South america..
It would be interesting writing songs about natural places which have an evil history! Like the place is haunted and possessed by dark forces and there is a curse for 100's of years.

^Interesting looking! With the attached are azaleas that only bloom a few weeks of the year out front. Unfortunately sometimes right after they bloom we get in a cold front that kills them right back off, ha ha. Then the rest of the year that bush is just a boring green. Other pics are our flowerbed from one year and the next door neighbors' house.

On a side note: they survived the tremendous noise of bands such as Malevolent Creation, Vader and also Coroner so they are metal cows lol! I was wondering about that. Is that not a closed venue? We had a dog that I swore liked heavy metal, as I got Disharmonic Orchestra's Not to Be Undimensional Conscious and listened to "Groove" and the tune after that (forget the name of the latter) on a boombox before settling down to check out the whole cd while reading the lyrics. He started smiling the moment the music started, then stopped the moment I shut it off

I couldn't also believe it but he was totally chilling out to this aggressive tune. Yeah it was closed of course but the field of the cows was directly at the opposite side of the festival maybe 250 meters approx. away from it and the sound of the stage was very loud - this festival is taking place in the middle of nowhwere literally.
