I guess some of you are going on the road anytime they have the chance as I do. What are your best memories of live performances? Can be particular shows or just a list of bands you know won't disappoint you.
I do a lot of festivals (between 10 and 20 per year mostly, usually between 6 or 7 countries around in Europe) so I've seen over 500 different bands now on stage (some of them over 20 times, couldn't say exactly how many concerts thoughts), and I have to say, on top (not mentionning Coroner, of course they're on top - the reunion gig in Lausanne and the one they gave last year in Rennes France being probably the performances I digged the most):
Death Angel (so much energy!! And so many awesome songs... I happen to see them 4 or 5 times a year and always have a blast)
Possessed (amazing, that's just it. Jeff being a very good friend, I try always to see them the most I can on tour, but that's not only that, they truely are one of the best live act ever)
Destruction (over 20 gigs, never gets boring)
Overkill (kind of the same, even I'm not into all they wrote on studio, live it's always a bomb)
Twisted Sister (Dee Snider is hell of a frontman)
Primordial (epic. Alan is also an unbelievable frontman, totally living his music)
Satan (Brian Ross rules!!)
King Diamond (I really hope to see that MF reunion some day soon, I am a huge fan and the 5 times I've seen the band live were all great)
Dark Angel (the gig in Neurotic Deathfest 2014 was just amazing!!! Hellfest was very cool too, but not as great as the previous one indoor)
I may forget some. If I would have seen Vektor more than once, could possibly also be in the list, as it's my favorite emerging band of the past 10 years and the gig at Hellfest has been over my expectations.
What about you?

Twisted Sister (Dee Snider is hell of a frontman) Have they retired after all now? Did you see the great Radio Shack commercial in the last year with him and all the other 70s/80s icons in it? I'll have to come up with some "top concerts" later; bit busy right now.

Yeah I've seen that. Actually they gave some shows this year not far, but I couldn't go there. I could also have mentionned Obituary btw.

Slayer in London 2010. Vulcain in Paris,2010. Pink Floyd 1994. Loudblast in 1994. Judas Priest+ Scorpions as support in London, around 2005. Plus obviously Megadeth,Metallica,Kreator (especially in 1997 with Tommy!!).Add also Ricky Warwick,Love/Hate,and Europe(yes, amazing and far from the hairy band they used to be in the 80's). Cavalera Conspiracy,London 2008. Paradise Lost in 1996. Café Bertrand. Joe Cocker in 2011. Mpire of Evil last year. Entombed.
I could name a few more but I've seen so many gigs over the years that the list would be too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, very lucky. A powerful and unforgettable performance. Elliot Smith has never clicked with me, but I deeply regret never seeing Morphine before Mark Sandman died (on stage in Italy!). I had lots of opportunities as they toured Australia frequently in the 90s.

many great gigs. Last year was the best for me so far. Haven't been at festivals I guess since 2008? haha One of my "historical" best Destruction on "Metal Invasion"(Bavaria)in October 2008. Played a perfect show in a fucked up city now. It was funny they almost played Bestial Invasion twice! Mike then told it Schmier but a bit late! Sepultura, Exodus, Destruction, Heathen, Mortal Sin on the Thrashfest tour in Munich November 2011. Great memories! Such thing must happen again definitly for example with Coroner as headliner Met Jason Viebrooks from Heathen. Was a nice guy. Malevolent Creation, Xibalba and others in June 2012. Great, great memories! Was a hot day and killer set. One amazing Club show. Could meet some bandmembers aswell. Saint Vitus in Munich 2012. Amazing experience to see em live. Great show.. Party-San Festival in Germany - Schlotheim. Such a damn great festival! Benediction, Protector, Malevolent Creation, Havok, Entombed A.D. and alot others.. Metal Méan Fest in Belgium with Malevolent Creation, Coroner and others.. was perfect! The belgian beer almost killed me. My liver must been looked like sieve after that haha. One of the best fests I ever been to. Coroner at the Kammgarn in Schaffhausen Switzerland. This is definitly engraved in my mind until eternity! Never expected and could imagine that I would see Coroner and then I met them all! Such things happen really rare. And to my luck I was a witness of that. Poltergeist, Erotic Jesus and others in Pratteln (near Basel) this year. I know it's insane to travel this far.. Man I met André Grieder and he almost became a friend of me.. was a great night. The show was memorable.

I have to add Testament+Exodus on May 26th in Grenoble,France. They just killed me and then pulverized the fucking place.and then killed me again!!What I saw that night was the perfect definition of thrash metal!!

Add Sunn 0))) to my list. Experienced them last night in Sydney. Absolutely stunning performance. Attila Csihar is an incredible vocalist, by turns employing rasping, guttural sounds, operatic and throat-singing harmonics. The wall of amps shook the building at times I thought the ceiling would cave in. Add to that the trombone, Moog and Fender Rhodes. Unforgettable.

Well there were many since 2015!
I think I should update:
2012: Kreator and Morbid Angel in Munich. Was fantastic! was stagediving during Kreator. Still very solid but Kreator aren't that good anymore.
2014: Metal Méan Festival in Belgium.
Absolutely memorable fest. It was just an awesome experience to see Malevolent Creation playing before Coroner. From one extreme brutal metal to the extreme tecnnical.. can't get better.
2014: Coroner playing in Selestát France.
Also on the bill was Vader and Destruction. Was very solid
2014: Coroner playing in Schaffhausen (CH)
Great memorable gig.
2015: Fall of Summer Festival in Torcy - France.
Lots of great bands were on the bill. Very memorable festival for me. I met Alex from Agressor and talked with him about playing stuff from the Neverending destiny record live someday. It was very cool. Destruction, Ashpyx played and Angel Witch was fantastic! Also Satan was very cool. Razor played and then Coroner. Very nice combination but i met the guys after the show but they weren't happy at all and frustrated about the terrible sound but I think the show was still very good from what i remember just not their greatest for sure.
November 2015: Mercyless (French Progressive Death metal) and Loudblast in Erfurt - Germany Was a blast! Very cool gig. Still one of my favorites
December 2015: Vektor in Munich:
Fucking beautiful! I met their Drummer later after the show and the gig was also fantastic.. Sad that this band split up too early after one great album released
April 2016: Exodus again in Munich:
Killer show. I think "Zetro Souza" perfectly fits as a frontman for Exodus.
November 2016: Voivod in Munich:
Great show I was wearing a Coroner shirt in honour. The first time I saw them and it was insane!
October 2017: Voivod in Landshut Germany:
Again a great performance even better than the last I must admit.
December 2017: Eindhoven Metal Meeting
Saw Coroner again with other bands like Merciless, Venom, Tankard etc.
Merciless (Swe) was also fantastic it was their last gig ever. Coroner followed after couldn't be better but their soundcheck was extremely long and they had serious problems with the sound and the performance but it was still great anyhow the crowd was killer.
April 2018: Coroner, Ashpyx and others at the 20th Anniversary Mosh Festival in Sursee (CH)
Asphyx were phenomenal! And Coroner played one of their best gigs in my history book I must say. Hope they can reach that level again.

Still very solid but Kreator aren't that good anymore. Yeah I was surprised in seeing the videos from their last album of "Satan is Real" and "Gods of Violence" or something like that in the last year or so. Good stuff, but is it really Kreator? Eh. It was just an awesome experience to see Malevolent Creation playing before Coroner. From one extreme brutal metal to the extreme tecnnical.. It's good to have a mix! Destruction, Ashpyx played and Angel Witch was fantastic! Amazing that the latter is not only still around but they can still crank out a good show!
