One other thing whilst I've got my 'Coroner' head on - does anyone know anything about a promo single in 1995 for the 6th album [ just called CORONER] ?
I've just noticed on a press sheet for the album there is a line that says:
"SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL SINGLE FOR RADIO AND EXTENSIVE CLUB MAIL OUT"
Did anyone here get any mailing about a single in early 1995?
Did the single ever get pressed and what was its tracklist?

Never heard of such single,and God knows I have pretty much everything they ever released....but I might have missed something!!

I must admit when I read it I was like, WTF!!! - another lost rarity to try and track down !
It is kinda exciting and also kinda 'Oh no , my collection will never ever be complete' at the same time!
Since that album was never released on vinyl I suppose it may have been a cd single perhaps...

Actually, the don't know about all that was released, so it's worth asking but not sure they'll have an answer.  Also, I never heard of that, I wouldn't be surprised if it was planned but never released, there are some other stories like this already, like the only test press copy I've seen on Ebay from "The New Breed" a while ago, hard to know anything about that. |

@ Thrashos: That was my first feeling because I've never heard of one before, but it must have been a very near thing if it made it onto the promo sheet issued just before the album so I wondered if some were pressed but never issued, like 'The Compilation' promo tape.
The New Breed 12" is a real thorn in my side after I underbid on one a long time ago and I've kicked myself ever since!
There are definitely at least two, one a US and one a German pressing as I asked the sellers about the matrix numbers, so there are probably more of each somewhere..

So it wasn't actually released as a single, or you talking about just a press copy on an Ebay auction? Because the very first time I heard of Coroner was in a Kerrang! magazine I got with their review of Punishment for Decadence and they mentioned it being the "current single" at the time. |
