I just heard that Jeff Hanneman passed away this morning,it's not only sad but a tragedy for the metal scene.
I saw him twice on stage and both times Slayer pulverized the venue :-)
Gary Holt (Exodus) was covering for him lately but even though he's good,he could never quite fill the boots....
Rock on Jeff,hope you're still shredding wherever you are!! \m/

Yeah, this definitely sucks. Quite the odd death too, from a spider bite?

I also saw Slayer once on the Clash of the Titans tour. Quite the good show (all around!).

I saw Slayer 3 times (once with Gary Holt on the guitar),awesome firepower all round!!
