I got a nice surprise of a YouTube private message from a friend of mine this morning. He's definitely been full of surprises in the last year, what with sending me a video game for free out of the blue (he was bestowed with two copies of it, so he gave me one) and joining up with my gaming forums several months ago (we go back about 10 years on someone else's forums that we first met on).
So, here it is, or at least the Coroner part of it anyway:
After watching one of your earlier videos, I decided to give the bands Coroner, Candlemass, and Celtic Frost a listen. I've been most impressed with Coroner as they seem to blend metal with elements of progressive/ambient music. I like their album No More Color a lot, and wonder whether I should move forward or backward in their chronology--I certainly like a more metal-oriented approach.
What can I say, he has good taste
