Totally blown away to discover that the infamously rare PFD Demo has been put onto vinyl !!!!!!!! www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261085277721?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649In case that link expires pics should be mirrored here: 'Number 1 of 33' Is this the first of a brand new bootleg? The seller lists it as 'Used' but I've never even heard of this before, has anyone else? Would love to know more about it! "Final Excertion (Early version of shadow of a lost dream)" *faints*

It'd be nice if one of the 33 people that have this album were to put ""Final Excertion" up on YouTube for everyone to hear!
A very surprising start to my day here, to say the least!

I strongly suspect that the other 32 copies haven't been sold yet.
My reasoning- It is on Xerocks Recs, known for doing lots of AC/DC bootlegs ... the seller is a big AC/DC fan ... who sells a lot of rare AC/DC bootlegs ... and who I'm pretty sure was the same guy who outbid me when the master metal pressing plates for the CORONER/CELTIC FROST Split 7" came up on ebay a couple of years ago... and from whom I bought a copy of said split 7" a while back ... numbered 212 when the original limitation was 200 copies ...
maybe I'm wrong, but, I don't think so! XD
Wherever it has come from I'm really pleased someone has released it. I think anyone who buys this sort of bootleg must already be such a big fan of the band that they have the rest of their stuff already, and since the band themselves haven't indicated plans to release the material, it isn't really like ripping anyone off. It would be best if Coroner themselves released this since I'd rather they had the money, but until that day ever comes I'd settle for this.
I'm really not expecting the sound quality of a 24 year old demo ( or copy of a demo) pressed onto acetate to be good enough to put onto youtube though!

or this guy is lucky enough to have the facilities to press a few records of his own as and when he wants I bet there are two slightly different versions of the split 7": the first 200 out of 200 from the original bootlegger on Kill Again Recs and, a limited number of extra pressings numbered 200 out of 300 upwards ( my guess is about 15 ) which claim to be on Kill Again but are on really from XeRocks. Actually if anyone here has a higher number than 212 we could test this out! Also if anyone has one of the original 200 that have "art by XeRocks" printed under the kar-001 cat. number on the insert please post up a scan !

I don't really know much about recommending a file-sharing site since they all seem to make you wait for ages or register beforehand, but I don't mind hosting the files in my own webspace and then linking them back to here to share them direct if no-one has any objection. If you want just email them to me at mark@sithean.com and I'll post them back up.
Other than that I suppose there is youtube but I don't know if they would automatically compress the files as you upload them.
Can you fill in any history of how these tracks originally got out? Were they released as an industry-only cassette to see about possibly moving from Noise or were copies made of rehersal master tapes and just leaked for instance?
As to the 10" I notice copy number 2 is now on ebay so it does look like only the first one has been sold so far.

Both are obviously bootlegs as I said and I don't think anyone would really confuse them with genuine Coroner releases.
However, the demo tracks themselves are from a genuine Coroner demo - I've just posted them up in a new thread to make them easier to find than if I'd stuck them on the end of this thread
