Back in one piece!! :-) The list is very similar to what they played in 96,only the order is changing a bit. In Limoges the first song was "Still thinking", "Divine step" came much earlier and "Internal conflicts" much later....I think!! But it was 15 years ago so.... ;-)

Wow, surprised they did so much of the 'newer' (/later) stuff. Only one song from No More Color though? What the hell?

This setlist scares the hell out of me. I'm flying to Baltimore to see them next month and I have ZERO interest in the last 2 albums and this is like half the songs. WHO THE HELL THINKS THIS IS A GOOD IDEA ?!?!?!
hopefully this was done for the local hometown crowd as I honestly don't see us pissy Americans putting up with this. They are headlining the event and you play 1 song from NO MORE COLOR? Not acceptable in any way shape or form.
So if you hear about a riot next month, you know why. ;D

And to add insult to injury - PURPLE HAZE - they are playing a cover song as part of the encore? Give me YOUR material, not someone else's please.
Such a crying shame.

Dude, they get back together after 15 years and you're bitching about the set list, get over it and be happy.

Dude, they get back together after 15 years and you're bitching about the set list, get over it and be happy. I've never seen them live and was excited to hear all of the songs and that I and every other fan of the band actually wants to hear. Maybe Europeans are a more tolerable bunch, but I don't know anyone who is going to give a rats patoot about 7 songs from Grin & Coroner. 3 songs from the 1st 3 albums? Seriously? How in the world can anyone be happy with that? I like that they are showing love for Mental Vortex, but drop 3-4 songs from Grin/Coroner and play more stuff from the albums that people actually CARE ABOUT. I bitch because I care and was super excited to see them. This is like a kick in the balls and punch in the stomach before a hot chick tells you 'ready for sex". Kinda dampens the mood, doesn't it ?

I have ZERO interest in the last 2 albums Well, that's... Not acceptable in any way shape or form. He,he, nevermind! Despite me not having expected (or wished) an only old-school show, I was also suprised how much of the later stuff was played. I loved it! Admittedly it would have been great and simply adequate to hear at least a second tune of each of the albums # 2 & 3. I could have easily traded Purple Haze for Absorbed and Der Mussolini for Die By My Hand for example, but who am I to complain? I have had such a blast yesterday! Funnily enough on my way back home I also imagined that this set list could disappoint the crowd of Maryland Deathfest as I expect it to be way more old school. Well, I admire that Coroner stay true to themselves and pick up where they left off 15 years ago and not suddenly do an 'only 80s stuff' thing all the way.

Asakku, Yeah the MDF crowd is going to be a more "nit picky" bunch, myself included (I have no problem admitting that). ;D I guess I was wrong in my assumption that those last 2 albums were like Kiss - The Elder & Celtic Frost - Cold Lake, where they just pretend they don't exist. I'll going to be hitting up youtube to get myself refamilarized with those new songs, but even so, 7 newer songs is overkill. You need to play like 2 each from RIP & Punishment & at least 3 from NMC. Call me an old school "weenie" I guess.

"hopefully this was done for the local hometown crowd as I honestly don't see us pissy Americans putting up with this. They are headlining the event and you play 1 song from NO MORE COLOR? "Maybe Europeans are a more tolerable bunch, but I don't know anyone who is going to give a rats patoot about 7 songs from Grin & Coroner." Well,a lot of people do,including me,even if the older stuff is just as good in its own way. "I guess I was wrong in my assumption that those last 2 albums were like Kiss - The Elder & Celtic Frost - Cold Lake, where they just pretend they don't exist. Okay, fair enough, and I do agree with you on the fact that hearing a couple more older songs would have been nice, but trust me,give the guys a break and a chance, they more than deserve it.Let them show you what they can do and in the end I'm sure you'll enjoy the show and have a good time, believe me!! Have a good MDF.

Have a good MDF. Thanks. Yeah I will. I think the SHOCK of this surprised me the most. I like the fact that they played 4 off Mental Vortex, but I was expecting the same or more from No More Color, I thought it wasn't even a question. I've been soo sky high with expectations on this show for many many months, it was like being blindsided with a punch to the gut. Now is this a matter of them being gone for so long and trying to play the slower or simpler songs cause it's easier ?

I was wondering myself....but then again some song from "Grin" are harder to play than some of the older ones,so I'm not too sure....maybe they just enjoy playing them more than the old stuff.Let's also bear in mind that "Mental Vortex" and "Grin" gave them a bigger audience, made them more approachable,in the end who knows? The best thing to do would be to ask them directly, but I can assure you that they'll still blow you away on stage,I'm convinced you'll have a good time!!

Really happy of this concert, a magic moment! I really enjoyed the setlist even if i would have loved to listen to 1 song or 2 more from no more color but hey who am i to complain? THEY ARE BACK!!! They have stayed true to themselves by playing the songs they love and i deeply respect that. It was tight as ever, played with passion, the audience was crazy! And for the sex comparison someone told me after the show it was better than fucking. Oh yeah it was beyond orgasm, the crowd can witness it! ;D
