What can I say....??
The nice thing about getting to a venue very early is that you get to see and have a chat with the band.
And after waiting for a little while, they turn up in their vans with gear,roadies,etc....
Greetings said,questions asked,album covers signed,photos taken,and it's time for the soundcheck.
Forward to the actual show.
The venue is packed (I hear there were between 900 and 1000 people in there, the atmosphere is explosive!!
The lights go dim and the boys are on stage. Here we go for 90 minutes of "in-your-fucking-face" sublime thrash metal.
The sound is excellent, even if in my opinion the voice could have been a fraction louder.
Tommy is unleashed,Marky is beating the crap out of his drums, and Ron looks like he never left the stage.
Lou Cubello makes an excellent appearance on stage to sing "Der Mussolini" and the show is not even over but I already feel like the placed has been nuked.
The atmosphere is incredible, the show is great but the emotion it brings is even better.
For the set list....find it on the next thread, some might want to keep it as a surprise for the coming gigs.
After the show Tommy,Ron and Marky come and see us fans again, they seem extremely pleased and all pre show nervousness is replaced by smily faces....
Quick note about the Tshirts....4 different designs, and they were all gone by the end of the show, the unlucky ones who wanted to buy one after the gig might have been disapointed,so for the other 3 gigs,my advice is:don't wait until the end of the set to buy one!!
