How many bassists out there?

Hey there! How many out there are fellow slammers of the fat strings? I'm the bassist/lead vocalist of an old school, semi melodic thrash band with deathy vocals in Iowa City, Iowa called Chance In Hell. I play a six string fretless and while I'm no acrobat like Steve DiGiorgio, I don't see a lot of fretless players in extreme metal. Anyone else play fretless? What's your story?

I think there's been a bassist or two around here over the years, but we don't have that many regulars...might check out the "Introduce yourselves!" thread in the General section, where several musicians have done write-ups of themselves there.
