One thing that always impresses me about this band is the quality of the lyrics, especially considering English is their second language.
What are your favorite lyrical moments in the Coroner discography? I have many, but for now I'll post:
The Lethargic Age

The entirety of ''Serpent Moves" is pretty trippy. Touch the sky, curse the sand, etc.

I think Marky's lyrics improved with time. I agree that Lethargic Age was a high point, and Ron's singing reached a high point with this one too.
I particularly like Golden Cashmere Sleeper Pt 1 "Destruction, she has invited herself", that's such a heavy song, especially the slower live version from The Unknown. Although Peter Haas' drumming is great on the studio version, Marky has a much better feel/groove on the live take. (BTW I pray someone will put a lossless torrent of The Unknown on Dime, even though this may be against their policy because it was "officially" released by the band)
Great to see you guys keeping things alive here on the forum. We Coroner obsessed are few and very far between.

I rate Coroner lyrics as the best there is, bar none! They really suit my personal taste. Fave snippet? This always comes to mind: I don't need wings
To reach the sky
And I don't need hands
To hold you tight...  I don't necessarily think that the lyrics improved over time - I like stuff from PFD, NMC & MV equally - it's all supreme! Grin's not bad either, but I find the early stuff just as entertaining. From the glorious ending of Voyage to Eternity ...and see the smile on my face! through to the beautiful twisted menace of Die By My Hand Stop time

arrhg.. Coroner's lyrics are just mindblowing, I hardly can really say what my favorites are, Grin has the most aggressive lyrics with this melancholy you can feel in most of em, but FUCK they wrote one of the best lyrics I've ever heard by a band except a few others..
anyway here are some that really grasp me very much..
