My original does not have any lyrics - just 2 page booklet! Same with mine. I think that proves that ours are originals.

Yeah, mine has no lyrics, just the snippets in the borders, jack for a booklet, really. I picked it up back in fall '93 when it came out. Futurist only version, here in the US. Killer record, but I was disappointed with the lack of pix, lyrics, blah blah blah... Over it now.

I think I got screwed over too since I ordered my copy off ebay and looks just like the OPs with the lyrics and everything.

Honestly I dont think I really care now after playing it it sounds like clear high cd quality so maybe its an unofficial rerelease. Theres no way I could of bought another copy cd from the same person 4 years later after he sold it to the OP.

I would never buy cds from Ebay or any other auction website. LPs yes but cds? No way. A friend of mine bought Nocturnus' Thresholds on Ebay, only to realize that he was ripped off. I've seen "No More Color" on Ebay recently (costs around 60 Euros!) and I don't know what to think about that. I was lucky enough like 5-6 years ago when I bought this record in a store. For 10 Euros. ;D

I agree with everything that sacrificedson wrote below. I have a US Futurist/Noise copy. The most telling is the bar code 0 & 1 lining up with the outside edge of the bar code. Something I've not seen pointed out here is on the rear insert on the left where the track listing is. The blueish swatch under Paralized Mesmerized, Grin (Nails Hurt), Host and continues down to the bottom under the Futurist Noise Logo is much darker on mine then the one above. One last thing I just noticed is on the Cd it's self, the circled C next to 1993 Dark Wings and the circled P next to 1993 Noise are much bigger on mine then they are on the above copy. On the Cd above these appear to be the same size as the 1993 DW & 1993 Noise. Oh mine doesn't have the lyrics ether. This has been happening more and more with rare metal Cd. I noticed a while back that the entire Hexenhaus Cd catalog was booted in Greece. So ask questions before you buy on eBay or any auction site for that matter. Yeah, that does suck. You'd think that if someone were going to make a copy, they'd at least get an original and try to make it look exactly like it. Adding that stuff is a surefire way to get found out. Edit: And I just found another difference. The barcode in the corner is much bigger on that one than the one that I've got. The one that I have has the '0' on the left side and the '1' on the right side, but they are extended out beyond the coding. On yours, the numbers are right underneath the first and last few bars of the coding. Shit, I keep finding stuff!! The word 'Futurist' on the back is fatter than mine, and the picture of the band is much bigger, and closer to the edge. On mine, there's a lot more space. Not to mention, the writing at the bottom right hand corner ('The Futurist Label, 6 Green St New York NY, 10013) is closer to the edge on yours than on mine. The copy is good, but not that good.
