I would love to see a Coroner bio/story about how the came to be and the processes during each album. Cool stuff like the ideas behind the lyrics, the music, how they got into their writing modes, as well as how they all got together in the first place.
I'd even volunteer to write the stuff. Any thoughts, Carole?

I agree....
Perhaps when Marky gets in touch again?
Carole...could you ask these?
Ask about how he met the band How did they write their first album? Did they all have day jobs back then with Noise? What he's been doing since 1995? How do they all keep in touch? how often? How/why did they decide to quit? What is the closest they have come to reforming?

Yes, whenever I get a reply from Marky, I'll try to setup a new interview. I already have some of the answers to the questions above from previous interviews I did with them. From the 1998 interview: www.designvortex.com/coroner/interviews/exclusiv.htmHow did you guys meet? How did it all start for Coroner? Did you ever play with other bands before forming Coroner?Ron: I played in a band in Zurich (Switzerland) with Tommy. Later we met Marky and out of this Coroner were born.
Tommy: Ron and I played in a local band in Zurich, but we were very unsatisfied with our other members. When we met Marky, we were very excited about all his ideas, not only musically, but about all his conceptual ideas about getting on with a band. He was way ahead of us in his mind. But Ron and I were musically ahead of him. All of this balanced out with time.
Marky: I met Ron and Tommy in Zurich, they had already played together. Later on we formed Coroner. And from the interview with Marky only, in 2001: www.designvortex.com/coroner/interviews/int_marky2001.htmFirst, the question all the fans are holding their breath for: is there any chance at all of Coroner reuniting someday? (either as Coroner, or as a brand new band.) Is there any desire from you, Tommy and/or Ron in doing this?Marky: to be honest, we never talked seriously about that. to me personally, it was always important to create something new, not warming up stuff i did in the past. on the other side i miss touring a lot, i'm sure tommy and ron as well. lets say, all three uf us are still best friends so everything is possible. What did you do between the break-up of Coroner and now? What was your best experience during that time?Marky: im very much involved in the techno-scene. might sound shocking for some of our fans. but i'm into electronic music eversince many years. but don't worry, you won't find me wearing white gloves and a gasmask on some idiot-rave. so what i really enjoined was a couple of concerts we did with a new project i've started called "spoo" in tokyo this spring. i always dreamed to play there, now it finally happend...Have you maintained contact/friendship over the years with the other guys (Tommy and Ron) since the split?Marky: of course. i think we're better friends than ever before, so thats why we might come back together one day...Also, there are some interviews from magazines on the site where they explained why they quit.

Yeah it has always seemed kinda strange that this site doesnt have a proper bio section of the band. I'm sure that with the info gathered here over the years, you could write a very meticulous article.

Yeah, but Carole's behind in getting stuff up: she's had stuff since August that she hasn't finished putting up, and other people have sent her in even more things since.

Oh well, I like new age...anyone gives me any sh*t about it, I just throw on some Dying Fetus or something...shuts them up...well, except for the whining of "turn the satanic stuff OFF!" There's just no pleasing some people! ;D
