I'm not sure how many people ever heard it since it wasn't a huge release, but there might be a few of you out there. John Connelly of Nuclear Assault released a solo album in 1991 under the name of John Connelly Theory. The album was called "Back To Basics". Anyway, the first song title "Intro" features a guy stopping somewhere asking an older man for directions. In the background, on the car's radio, you can hear...
D.O.A.!!!!!!!
You only hear it for about ten seconds, but it's clearly there. Anyway, thought I'd share that for those who didn't know. Nice that John gave a nod to Coroner on his own solo album, and of course they toured together later, as most of you know.

Wow, that's really cool, I'd love to hear that Would you be able to send me a .wav file of it? I'll trade you for a copy of that Megadeth interview I told you about (even if you can't, no biggie, I can still send it your way ).

I'll have the song available here later tonight. Check your PMs for instructions on how to get that interview to me. Looking forward to hearing it.

PM sent back, but disregard what I said; right after I sent it, I was like "duh, I can just attach it to a PM on Atari Age". So that'll be easier ;D EDIT: gads, I am really NOT with it today. I just saw where you said you're looking forward to hearing the interview, which it's not audio, it's text, as it was from a magazine. Geez Either way, you'll still get it by tomorrow though ;D

And check your aa.com PMs for yours ;D Got it, thanks! Yeah, I figured this was something not a lot of people knew, so I thought I'd mention it. I actually hadn't heard "D.O.A." yet when I first heard this album, so I didn't know the song at the time. When I later got my copy of No More Color, I heard it and thought, "wait a minute, I've heard this before!" I went back and sure enough, there it was.

Too bad Connelly didn't say who it was on the liner notes or anything, but at least it was still there.
I always liked the ad for that cd, with the plane crashing and all ;D Thanks for sharing!
