Interesting that he states that there was some professional filming of the Mental Vortex tour but Noise records vetoed releasing it( bastards) Now that just HAS to be released some time in the future!
Also, Ron hints at his dissatisfaction at the No More Colour live in Berlin vid,saying they were not in form! could have fooled me.

Thanks for the link, Gray!  Google translations are always a tough read, but we Coroner fans certainly can't be picky.  (It sure would be nice if we had a French-speaking person to give us a cleaner translation.  Right, Carole?  Hint, hint...)

And yes, it would be great to see that film from the Mental Vortex tour.  I can just imagine all kinds of great footage gathering dust in a Noise International storage room somewhere.  [insert much profanity here]  But I'm also wondering about that "traditional blues" CD that Ron mentioned?  I'd be very interested to hear that, since Ron's bass playing was always one of my favorite aspects of Coroner.  I suppose it's a European-only release, whatever it is.  Anyone have any info about this?

As far as the Berlin video goes, the band members have all voiced their dissatisfaction with it over the years.  I think it was mainly due to the fact that they didn't get to use their own lighting and sound crew (Tommy, in particular, seemed to have quite a bit of microphone trouble during the show).  But I still think it's a nice piece of work.  And considering how lousy Noise Int. was overall, we should count ourselves damned lucky to have it!  I won't even bother to hope for a DVD.  Well, maybe a little...

I think the interview was originally translated from German to French, because the French text itself was a little weird in places... Anyway, I did my best to translate it to comprehensible English (quite a difference from the Google translation.)
