What's up everyone? Nice to know there's still some
Coroner fans around. I discovered them on MTV's Headbanger's Ball in the late 80's (when MTV was kinda cool). I was glued to the tv set the second the video "Masked Jackal" came on. Never heard of them but something drew me in immediately. Since then I've been a huge fan. Got the chance to watch them when they played at the Coyote Club in Wichita, KS (yeah i know...i can't believe they went to KS either) on their No More Color tour. Met up with Ron and the boys after the show and asked them a bunch of stupid questions. One of which was "You guys are from Sweden, right?". Mark got a disgusted look on his face and said, "Fuck no! We're from Switzerland. Sweden sucks!". Haha...I already knew this but couldn't think straight....I mean SHIT! I was talking to Coroner for God's sake! Anyhow, just thought you guys would enjoy that. I was hoping that they would write a song about the idiot who called them Swedes but it never happened...heh.
Anyone else ever meet up with them? I'd love to hear your stories.

Unfortunately I have never see them live. and never had a chance to talk to them.... I live in Russia and once we had Samael (they are also from Switzerland) but never ever had Coroner...

Oh man! I'm so sorry! I thought of that after I posted (what if there are Swedes on this message board?). Personally, I don't have any problems with Sweden.
I don't know why Marky said that (btw that was just a nutshell of what he said). I believe his exact words were "Fuck no! We're from Switzerland. Sweden's a bunch of (insert something negative here as he mumbled and I couldn't quite understand him...although I know it wasn't good)." Maybe he just had a bad experience there? I dunno but I wouldn't let it bother you. I'm sure if you met him he'd be cool with you on a one to one basis.
