As far as the title of this thread goes, this is in regards to any of the several musicians on this site that may have some stories to tell about their musical happenings, gigs and all, and is a continuation from another thread, due to new guy JD Bradshaw joining up, which I faintly remembered reading a review of a demo his band of Killer Elite doing in a metal mag years and years ago (think he was as surprised as I when I mentioned it!). As I've mentioned and posted pics on these forums, I used to be a drummer, but that's on hiatus due to losing my set a little over a year ago (due to being late on storage unit rent, so they were legally entitled to go in and sell my stuff), and even if I *did* have the money for a new kit, playing it would still be on hold too, due to thyroid problems. But for anyone else with stories--I've only got a couple, since I only played with one guitarist at one point, and another one at another time--feel free to post them here, but kindly resist the urge to post any x-rated ones involving groupies, since Proboards wants to maintain a PG rating, and could very easily do away with this site. (Instead, and especially those involving any photos, those can be sent to my e-mail, at... ;D ) Anyway, continuing with a thread from another place on here... I hear ya bro! Thanks for bringing back some great memories... You're welcome, it sounds like your time in K. Elite went ok, even though you guys didn't make it big. I was hoping to get KE back for a mini cd but its up in the air! Is that in regards to that one member who disappeared in the last year? I am the wildest mother f--cking metal musician around my area and always wearing underground or hard to find t shirts and wacking em out... Yeah, with the really sorry underground music "scene" here in Houston, most of the metal stuff I get I have to order through the mail or internet...grrr I am so fu-king metal so is my wife..lol That's cool, and kind of rare when that happens!

Killer Elite were a tight unit that rehearsed, wrote and became best friends in the 4 years we were together..We all went in seperate directions and I am the only one who continues to keep playing and driving forward with my career..Tom /drummer hasnt been heard from since I last saw him a few years ago and Brunner the bass player has a Elvis Chicken act..K.E. created alot of first times things for me from traveling to other states to play, recording our songs in a real studio to ahh yes the sexy groupies which was a far cry from what I had to select from in my area to date or to wam bam..lol......We could have made it bigger than just being a local well known thrash band but we went seperate ways..We played SOD-Venom-Motorhead-Sodom-Celtic Frost covers too..Anyways it was a great time!...Sorry to hear you lost your drums,I cant even imagine that..damn!..My better half [wife] of 8 years is very supportive of my career and is into metal esp Brutal Black metal and I got her into the underground scene which she had no idea existed due to her ex hubby of 10 years who was into Disco-dance music..She has always like classic rock, ect but now loves metal-hard rock and she found her niche at 42 when we met!..Its cool to meet somebody like you bro!..Coroner is one of my fav bands ever!..I will hook you up with some K.E. and maybe a cd-r of my instrumental stuff..

Brunner the bass player has a Elvis Chicken act.. I was wondering about what exactly that was, but I guess it's something that can't really be put into words on the net! Still, try to describe it if you can, eh? We could have made it bigger than just being a local well known thrash band but we went seperate ways.. It's tough keeping guys in a band, with different personalities and all, agreeing on practicising and what you're going to play, etc... We played SOD-Venom-Motorhead-Sodom-Celtic Frost covers too.. What S. O. D. and C. Frost tunes did you play? ;D Sorry to hear you lost your drums,I cant even imagine that..damn! Thanks, but it wasn't TOO big a deal: I don't have anything against Spanish bands or anything, but once I started getting into Spanish rock, every SINGLE freakin' Spanish drummer I saw in the music videos had an effing stainless steel set, I swear! So by the time I paid off the drum set on layaway I was already sick of stainless steel ;D (I wanted a black Tama set, a la Lars of Metallica [whom I worshipped at the time], but the Pearl set was cheaper) I've still got a few pieces left, but it's worthless: a couple of tom-toms, which the finish would either have to be redone to match (I plan on going back to my original idea and getting a black set next...whenever that'll be ) or I shouldn't bother...the snare trigger is screwed, so the hell with that...and I've got a couple pieces of percussion and my cymbals, not much I can do with those! Oh well, at least I wouldn't have to re-buy the cymbals though... My better half [wife] of 8 years is very supportive of my career and is into metal esp Brutal Black metal and I got her into the underground scene which she had no idea existed due to her ex hubby of 10 years who was into Disco-dance music.. Bah ha ha! Guess she's into musicians big time, eh? Its cool to meet somebody like you bro!.. Same here, nice to have the occasional person think of looking for Coroner sites and eventually get here, this isn't exactly a real busy forum! I will hook you up with some K.E. and maybe a cd-r of my instrumental stuff.. I appreciate it, I'll even eventually do a review of it (/them?) for a heavy metal site me and a friend used to run, he'll eventually get the site back up (long story!), we had 50-60 reviews, most of which I did Anyway, I'll eventually get into the few stories I have, this reply's long enough as it is right now...

Cool bro..It will be the first review of Killer Elite in a very long time.. Ha ha...actually I might not have worded that too correctly, if it's got the songs that will be on the 2006 cd release, then I'll do a review of it (or if at least one of the cds that you send me is one of your solo albums); the site that me and a friend used to run wouldn't do demo reviews. And, like I said, dunno when the site will be back up anyway, it could be a while. But I'd definitely do a review though. Great to make a friend on here! Eh, I'm sure you'll make QUITE a few more on here This site just doesn't have a lot of traffic right now though. As I think about it as well, I can't say that there's a single person on here that I think is a jackass. I guess it's just a fitting tribute to discuss a great band that is no longer with us Package going out tomorrow to you..Hope you like it! Thanks, I look forward to it!
