I think I nearly broke my neck when I saw Dillinger 3 years ago, close to the best gig I've ever seen (when I wasn't thrashing like a spastic or picking someone up off the floor of the pit).
I didn't hear about Converge damnit, would've been totally raw...I'm so jealous.
gettin psyched for saturday "and they said we'd tear ourselves apart...turns out THEY WERE RIGHT!"
good luck dude ;-)

...going to see Death Angel in a few days Death Angel were fucking great! ;D They deserve their reputation for high-quality high-energy shows... discovered how out of shape I am, coz I was aching all over the next day from jumping around like a lunatic. Had a big grin on my face the whole time though, great show, great band ;D

Testament on the same gig? Damn you!! ..love Testament, seen 'em a few times, but the gig I had tickets for last year got cancelled last minute. I was gutted. The Formation of Damnation is a crackin new album from 'em. btw, welcome to the board! ;D

Absolutely insane gig. Have fun tonight Fffuuuuuuccckkk mmaaaannn, I think me heads gonna fall off.... Easily the gig of the year from possibly the best live band on the planet. Such a positive vibe in the pit, never experienced anything quite like it. They really know how to work a crowd, amazing lightshow, incredible energy, superlative superlatives OMG blah blah blah you will never see a more exciting live band, simultaneously violent and loving fucking wow. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU DON'T DIG THEM, EVERYONE SHOULD WITNESS THE INTENSITY OF DEP BEFORE THEY DIE.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU DON'T DIG THEM, EVERYONE SHOULD WITNESS THE INTENSITY OF DEP BEFORE THEY DIE. Indeed. Or before they explode into a flaming ball of fire on stage due to excessive friction. They are EASILY the most intense live performers I've ever seen. How they're able to play that technical for that long and go that crazy onstage is beyond me. New guitarist is a madman as well, but I guess that's probably a Dillinger prerequisite..

For like two weeks I saw ONSLAUGHT (Sofia), KISS (Sofia), MOONSPELL (Bucharest):
ONSLAUGHT I got really drunk But it was an moshpit during the whole gig and was in the center of it (plus several stagedives and crowdsurfings ). Was bruised a whole week long, but it worth it
KISS was... well, KISS. Not a fan of them but really enjoyed the show. Would go see them again if they come around another one time, definitely
MOONSPELL was the cherry of the cake! First the nice trip to Bucharest with familiars + ... let's say someone I care about Than meeting a lot of friends there *sighs* Had a lot of beers and just before to get drunk (like fuck) the gig started and I was totally SQUASHED by sound, vision (of the band) etc. This was last Saturday and me neck still hurts Wish them play around here a bit more often

Back in February I went to London to see Exodus and Overkill and Priest Feast.
While I only got to see Overkill on the first night, I did get to meet them aswell which was awesome. The following night I went to see Testament, Megadeth and Judas Priest which was just mindblowingly good.
Also last year I went to Bristol to see Ministry on their last ever tour. This was my first ever proper metal gig. It was brilliant.

Easy, but my best show the last 12 months is Coroner in Lausanne, just amazing, and great to talk with the guys after and sign some records.
Behind comes probably Death Angel in Bang Your Head fest near before Tygers of Pan Tang at the same place.eally good one by Diamond Head in Sonisphere france.

great to talk with the guys after and sign some records. Wow, signing actual *vinyl* records? Behind comes probably Death Angel in Bang Your Head fest near before Tygers of Pan Tang at the same place, and i had a really good Saxon show in Köln too some months ago (with meeting before during the soundcheck, was cool) and a really good one by Diamond Head in Sonisphere france. Holy crap! Except for DA, some classic NWOBHM bands there!

Yeah, i love this fest, one of the best for me, and always good bands, in NWOBHM and hard/heavy in general (Twisted Sister last year is probably my best gig ever!). great to talk with the guys after and sign some records. Wow, signing actual *vinyl* records? Sadly not, i was not sure about to bring everything so i took just the cd's, but next time i'll take the rest for sure! Anyway it's already cool.
