...or alternatively - don't! coz COF suck big time. There are loads more extreme/black/dark/death/symphonic bands out there that deserve attention. There are only a few decent bands from here in the UK, & COF are definitely not one of 'em. Danny Filth's girlish cackles for vocals are totally hilarious!

Danny Filth's girlish cackles for vocals are totally hilarious! thats all you have to say to diss this band? look at how many c.d.'s they have put out, and actually listen to more than just a few of their songs, it isn't all cackling, there's alot of screaming too, and some people dig harsh vocals, how do you think punk started out? and actually its quite the euphoric experiance

If you dig a harsh vocal in the vein of COF (if you're not familiar with COF, this is not Death/Black style, it's more of a cackles-like-a-witch-style), and some people DO, then check out 'Firestorm' by Tvangeste. The symphonic parts are better utilised, blending more seamlessly with the BM stylings. It's by no means perfect, but it surely cackles with the best of the witches out there. If you want the more commercial stylings that COF produce, then when it comes down to it, choose Dimmu Borgir instead. hehe!

i agree with Sirius, I dont much care for Cradle of Filth...but something does intrigue me...isnt one of the guitarists from At The Gates suppose to be joining CoF's lineup?

CoF may be Pop in the worlds of Black and Death Metal but I am not ashamed to say (not trying to imply that anyone here is) that I listened to Nyphetemine and enjoying it.
