Haha, I just wish someone would post some videos from Sydney on youtube. I want to see myself do the stage-dive...... Seriously guys, one of the best nights of my life. I had a BALL! Four bands played in support, like a mini metal-festival. Talk about good value for money. Coroner started about 22:20 and finished a few minutes before midnight. So tight. Great setlist. Excellent sound. I made a recording. Hit me up if are interested, I will upload it to my dropbox for you. I will also edit the tracks and upload to dime in a few days. I went with a buddy and his GF, and we stood on the rear terrace just behind the sound/light desk. Not a big venue, maybe 500 or so people there. By the second song, Internal Conflicts, I was itching to hit the floor. I gave my recorder to my friend and into the pit I went. So crazy, some serious moshing going on, dudes running around crashing into each other like dodgem cars. FUN I spent most of the show in the pit, only going out a couple of times for water and a rest, then back into it. A bit of crowd surfing going on, one guy offered me a lift but I indicated that I had other plans...... So we come to the encores, Reborn Through Hate segues into Die By My Hand. I know this is the last song because I watched the encore from the Melbourne show on youtube. I drift over to stage left as a crowd surfer get dropped behind the security fence. The security dude on that side goes to the middle to help move the surfer out. Now or never..... I climb up a hand rail onto the fence then onto the stage, run around behind Ron then without pausing over into the crowd..... I should have waited for the crowd to prepare for me because there is only one dude there in the middle, too late I am committed.... he catches me enough so I don't slam into the floor. WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I did not buy the VIP ticket, it didn't feel right. I think the band should have come out to the merch table after the show, but hey. I complimented the main sound guy after the show, he said it was the best show of the tour so far. I wish I introduced myself, he seemed like a nice guy and was clearly one of the Zurich crew. He told me the band have known Diego for like 30 years. Did I mention how good Diego played? Great drummer, superb feel for the music while playing his own variations, not all exactly like Marky, which is pretty cool. I think he really adds a whole new dimension to the Coroner sound. I can tell you that the crowd really enjoyed themselves. So many smiling faces after... Fuck I am so sore today

Okay I have split the tracks, and am presently uploading the folder to dropbox. Files are FLAC. PM me your dropbox emails guys and I'll link you in.
It would have been great to meet the band but the VIP tickets were nearly three time the price of regular tickets and that didn't sit right with me. Maybe this was something the local promoters had organised? Security ushered everyone out that didn't have a VIP pass. I suppose I could have found a way to stay behind or sneak in, but that's not my style so it wasn't to be.

Right,I just sent you a PM with my email address, thanks bud!! Yep,you're right regarding the local promoters and the VIP tickets,I've seen Coroner 5 times and I met them every time but once. They are very approachable and very cool with the fans (in fact I still think they never truely realized how big they are for us),and as a matter of fact they normally come to the fans,I never really had to chase them, but there you go,someone must have seen the opportunity to cash in on this tour.Shame, and i'm fairly convinced they must have felt bad about it,but the decision was definitely out of their hands in my opinion. Nonetheless it's great that they now tour places they'd never visited before and I'm glad you had a ball!!

Man, I'm just so grateful for the chance to see them play. A highlight of my life as far as I'm concerned. That and the stagedive are two items I can tick off my bucket list I was checking out some bacefook photos from the tour and it's nice to see so much positive feedback. One guy who met the band saying he was looking forward to new material and another tour. It's nice to dream

Hey Thomas, Are you able to identify the crew members in this photo? It would be nice to know their names, even just first name. They guy far left must be the promoter and the guy far right is the sound guy I met.

I never have had the chance to see Coroner live. That's what I get for not discovering their awesome music until 1997....not long after I got into metal. Anywho, I'm over here in the USA. ...but I have an Aussie facebook buddy who went to the show on 6/5. Here's the pix he sent me: While my buddy took the shot above a photographer somewhere in the shadows past Diego took the following shot (clipped from Coroner's facebook page): My buddy is to the right of Tommy in the black T-shirt, arms on the security fence. I thought that was pretty cool.
