Nice write up man, good work.
I reckon Coroner should have been one of the biggest bands of their time, up there with Slayer, Metallica et al. Better than all of 'em.

I agree with rehabitat, good work on the write-up.
I too saw them on headbanger's ball back in the day, and i was instantly hooked.
Coroner rules!

Yes, good write-up, save for THIS crap: While knee deep in other Iron Maiden albums, And Justice For All..., and slowly starting to like some bands from Seattle (who knew!), Coroner always got lost in the shuffle. Dave didn't really like them, none of my friends liked them. But when anyone asked "What's the heaviest song you own?", I would always put on Coroner. I would always get "that scary look", but I never made a fan out of anyone else.Gee, your "friends" sucked  Everyone *I* played them to got into them! But then, since "real" metal like this is hard to find in Houston, maybe that was why... And welcome aboard! |

nice write up ...so you don't have Grin yet? I recommend that you track it down! It's superb, a fabulous evolution from earlier outings.  hehe, and get the self-titled "Coroner" compilation too. A handful of new tracks make it most worthwhile. |

I'm a Coroner fan on the East Coast too, and from one writer to another let me tell you I also enjoyed your writeup. Welcome to the message board- not much seems to go on these days  . |

cool, everyone, thanks for the kind words. Since i've been lazy for 10 years and haven't gotten Grin, i'll try to pick it up on ebay maybe around christmas time. I've heard people say it's been selling high, $50-$60 but i think i've seen a few around for $10-$12 or so.
