Hello out there extended Coroner family coming all the way from Australia
Just thought it worth a mention that we have an awsome FM radio station over here called Triple J that is broadcast nation wide all across Australia with an accompanying weekly TV show that is also broadcast nation wide on free to air. The station and the tv show are very popular and pride themselves on being at the forefront of all things musical. If you don't listen to triple j over here then you've basically got your head in the sand when it comes to new releases overseas.
The point of my story is that Andrew Hoag (a dj on triple j) hosted last weeks show wearing a black and white Punishment for Decadance tshirt proudly. WHAT A BLOODY LEGEND!!!

Triple J are an Australian government run station, but unfortunatley they are heavily subsidised by major record labels. The metal show "Full Metal Racket" tend to favour artists signed to Roadrunner, which is fine if you are into nu-metal and the like, but not if you want to hear something new and different.

After listening to JJJ for a while, you will realise that even though they play a lot of new music, they tend to thrash the shit out of stuff they like, or paid to like. Their music "guru" dj Richard Kingsmill is a complete wanker.

If you are in Sydney try 2SER or 2RRR, which are community run stations and play what they bloody well want to, and in between ethnic broadcasts there is some quite adventurous musical programming (some shite and some sublime moments too). Brisbane has 4ZZZ which is along similar lines.

The Hoag brothers have long been Coroner enthusiasts who have tried to spread word about the band, I remember when they used to be on 3RRR praising Coroner a lot. Good on them.

Yeah JJJ is pretty shite really, community stations will always play better and more underground stuff.
