Hey guys, i'm not sure if you know this great techdeath metal outfit from Poland but they recorded a cover on "Paralyzed, Mesmerized" on their latest CD "Internal Complexity" [2005]. These boyz always state that their influences are: Cynic, Coroner, Death etc... you can get it here: s44.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2Y2ID0F6GL0GE1ERCTUMLAY2M9this is a version with their former singer Michal Urbas (who sang on all previous CDs, but had left after they recorded this CD), so the 2005 album was rerecorded with the new singer. I will up the other version soon if it's really worthy  haven't listened to it yet. anyways, finally a Coroner cover for you all my friends!! Felix  |

lol, pretty funny, the music is almost spot on (including the solos!), but I dunno about the vocals, he sounds like Mille Petrozza on a very bad day....

I found it on soulseek.
It's not bad, they have done such an accurate version that casual comparison makes it clear how great Coroner were. They had a "feel" that can't be copied....

The band had sent me that cover a short while back. I think it's really well done but, like rehabitat said, Coroner's "feel" is hard to master and copy Anyway, they gave me permission to put the song on the Coroner site, so I'll do that one of these days, for those who haven't been able to download it elsewhere. |
