I guess I am lucky after all since I did see Voivod in Cleveland, FINALLY! Missed them before so this was my first chance. Sorry to hear they didn't tour out your way.
Anyway, again, welcome to everyone that's just finding this place. My guess is the Blabbermouth article helped out quite a bit over the past week.

you are well lucky yeah!!! Wot did they play, mainly new stuff? I hear E-Force were doing a couple of VV covers, Insect I think, so was really looking forward to that one as it would have been the nearest thing  Also some of the guys on VVF met Blacky a coupple months back, & I didn't realise until after  lucky bastards, I woulda loved to meet Blacky. Met Piggy, that was about 10 years back, got a hug off him so that pretty much made my year !!!  |

They played a few new tunes, but they did play a bunch of older stuff. I think I might have written down a setlist somewhere. I'll see if I can find it. I know for sure they played "The Unknown Knows" as I've waited since 1989 to hear it live! It was also pretty cool to be about 20 feet away from Jason(ic).
Anyway, glad to have you here. 2005 should be an interesting year for music in general at this rate.

Nice one!! Been a few good reunions lately, seeing Candlemass & Sabbat on the same bill was pretty amazing, also Death Angel  very nice!! Wish I kept track of setlists, I have the memory of a stoned goldfish! |

I've got all of Sabbat's cds and the first six of Candlemass', what a weird, but great combo of a show! I missed Candlemass here in the early 90s (it wasn't promoted at all), and I doubt Sabbat ever came here. Least I saw Coroner though! |
