Huh? Vinyl? Didn't that, like, die out in the 80s? Well, not quite. Records are still made today for a lot of the newer releases and rereleases of classic albums. Anyway, sometime in the mid 90s I picked up a vinyl copy of No More Color at a used record shop (Jerry's Records in Pittsburgh, for those interested, they have EVERYTHING!). I couldn't find it on CD at the time (my copy came later, another story), and all I had was a tape copy from a friend, so I got the record as a result. I'm glad I did!
I also have a promo 12" single, clear vinyl, "Die By My Hand" on side one and "Tunnel Of Pain" on side two. My very first purchase from eBay as it turned out. Once I get my web space up and running again I can post a picture of it if anyone's interested.
Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else picked up any of their releases on this format. I imagine not many, but you never know.

Yeah, I know, I've been going to record conventions here since '87, and they've still got plenty ;D I also have a promo 12" single, clear vinyl, "Die By My Hand" on side one and "Tunnel Of Pain" on side two. Holy CRAP! I didn't even know any singles were made for that album. Any, sirius13 has a bit of Coroner vinyl. Wish I did.

Yeah, I thought ANY single, promo or otherwise, from Coroner was pretty cool. I was kind of disappointed that it was just two songs from the album and not any unreleased tracks, but still nice to have. I forgot to mention I also have the Doomsday News II LP, which I bought just so I could hear "Hate, Fire, Blood". Short, but still a good song.
Did a quick search on eBay and it looks like a few more releases did make it to vinyl. Found R.I.P. and Punishment for Decadence on there. Not sure if the rest made it or not.

I've got Doomsday News I ;D I always thought that "Hate, Fire, Blood" song was a bit of an oddity, being the shortest song they did, not counting the intros on "R. I. P." and the ones on Grin and all.

I have RIP, both versions of Punishment, No More Color , Mental Vortex and Grin. Had the clear single but traded it off several yrs ago when I downsized my vinyl collection. Mental Vortex and Grin are probably the toughest too find.

For those that have Grin on vinyl, is it a single or two record set? I think the CD is 70 some minutes long, so I would guess it'd be on two records. Just curious.

Grin is just a single vinyl. How does it sound? I'm curious because if each side is at least 30 minutes long, then the album mastering people had to do some serious trickery to make it sound decent. When Metallica released ...And Justice For All it was a 2 record set. On the record itself, there was a sticker that said they didn't put it on one LP because "it would sound like s**t"! ;D
