well I replaced now the Coroner Cd's I've lost. Just received again the original "Mental Vortex" US-Pressing which I've searched for. But I will never again take Cd's to a gig that's for sure.
Also some really bad luck happened again because my camera is destroyed now too at the last concert (Overkill, Prong..) it is just I cannot help.. I think I will need a new one.
But I will attend the Gig in Schaffhausen (CH) on December 6th definitly. Italy is too far away for me though I'd love to see Vektor too.

Well I saw em in Kammgarn in Schaffhausen (CH) last Saturday and it was fucking amazing!! I was travelling more than 11 hours by train but it was awesome.. Met Tommy Vetterli first and then went in the Club for some food. I met Diego first and he said he would arrange for me to get in contact with the other guys.. Then later (after had some awesome food) some guy said "There is Ron Royce sitting over there btw" and I went to him (without knowing what to say) I wished him a good show and he was very grateful.. it was like adream coming true for me.. was totally high. It was mesmerizing.. I can't even remember, sorry had a joint and very drunk. The gig was just perfect, beautiful. I wished they would have played some more songs of No More Colour but it was just mesmerizing. Later I talked to Ron again and asked him again about playing in germany but he started to get nervous so I was extremely sorry for that.. but it was just perfect. I was very drunk that night so the pictures I took with the band were really weird. Not more to say.. it was amazing. Here some of the pictures: it is fucked up in a way.. wasn't even lookin' in the camera..

thanx all.. the pictures could have better quality. Better check out the ones from Kammgarn staff. Witchfynde: Yeah I was really going nuts - I also missed a train connection because of a delay. Very long travel but worth every minute! Switzerland was damn great.

Hee hee, your story reminds me of the "Farewell tour": They were playing not far from where I live, but I was due to start my national service 2 days before the gig.... so I had to go and see them in Limoges, which is quite far away.So I jumped on a train, then, another, and 8 hours later I got to the venue. The gig was ace,and after the show Marky invited me backstage for a beer. But I missed my train back, and I was supposed to wait all night at the station. But a local guy had told me it was a very bad idea,as the station was a kind of hangout for the local skinheads.... so I took the first train out, which took me to Paris, then eventually, after a 24hr/1500km trip I was back home!!That night I had a gig with my band,so I went straight to where we were playing, and arrived just in time for the soundcheck. I will never forget that trip and the "Farewell gig" in Limoges, and I can fully understand what you felt with your adventure from Germany to Switzerland :-) But Coroner will always be worth travelling for!!

wow you must been lucky! I'd love to have met Marky Edelmann too.. ask him about his Graphic Design job and his songwriting.
But well Paris is too far away for me too. I travel far for gigs but there are limits. But the Farewell tour must really been something special. The Coroner guys are really the nicest I ever met. I have travelled really far to see em and was worth everytime.
Diego told me they will first work now on the new album before starting to tour again.

Actually,I wish that train hadn't taken me toà Paris, that's 600km from where I wanted to be!!But I didn't have much choice.... Anyway, once thing with Coroner, they always have time for the fans,I met them in 1993,1994 (they actually came to the barriers to meet us straight after their set),again in 1996,and for the Reunion Gig. At the reunion gig they were surprised to see some fans waiting for them hours and hours before the show (we'd been waiting for them to arrive, you should have seen their faces when they got out of their van!!) but they took the time to talk with us,sign whatever had to be signed, joke, etc etc....Very cool guys indeed, and very modest, almost embarassed by all the fuss around them. Among the many bands I've seen,Kreator have to be mentioned too for being cool guys, very approachable and friendly. I can't wait to meet Coroner again!!

Nope guys, I've seen Marky a short time ago and he is definitely focusing on his Doom project (with another big name in the band, which is pretty cool). Who knows, maybe until the songs are written it can change, but it seems unlikely for now.

^ Oh sounds awesome! It would be cool when Marky would do a side Doom Project with Scott "Wino" Winerich! One of my favorite musicians aswell. But I guess will never happen haha. Thomas: Yeah Switzerland is an adventure everytime. People there I always experienced very open-minded and they accept you the way you are and want to be. Not like here in germany (esp. south bavaria) it's horrible. Some gigs were just horrible. Once I remember being on a festival - they cancelled Kreator because of bad weather! But back to Coroner I can't real imagine some other band being like them. They are nothing like ignorant Rock stars or whatever. I'd love to hang out with those guys every time again. And now let's hope for the new album to be good if not be mind-blowing. I guess it's going to be a masterpiece.
