Damn right, couldn't agree more! I love a bit of Deathrow. Raging Steel & Deception Ignored are total class... Life Beyond & Riders of Doom/Satan's Gift are a bit shaky, but I forgive 'em because RS & DI are masterful

I forgot about Raven as a kick ass 3 piece and Exciter too! Raven kind of changed a bunch over the years, though...can't really say for sure if the quality of their stuff stayed good throughout though, since I've only heard a few of their songs, rather than having any of their albums or anything to compare with (got a real early one on the NWOBHM double cd that Lars Ulrich put out years ago, forgot what it was called; might have been something about money). And it just really AMAZES me of how many people on here know of Deathrow (JD, they're mentioned on another thread in here about "progressive metal?"). Granted, being in the awful music industry in Houston, and probably more people being aware of them overseas, that's one thing, but...damn! (Think me and JD about evens us out of the Deathrow fans in the U. S. now that are on this board, and the others overseas )

Deathrow are absolutely brilliant ,ever since my stepdad first played Raging Steel to me a few years ago ago I have never stopped listening to them. You can never become bored with Deception Ignored...
Has anyone ever heard Mekong Delta?

guys, Mekong Delta are must-hear for those who dig Coroner!! They even tour together as for Deathrow and Artillery - they are great! here's a fresh intie with Deathrow i stumbled upon yesterday: www.voicesfromthedarkside.de/interviews/deathrow.htmDo you guys know those long-defunct UK thrashers Xentrix and Decimator? I adore both

Ironfelix, thanks for that link! That was great to read, in particular I wish I could have seen this: "In 1987 we toured Italy with CORONER..." Man, that would have been an all-time high for me. I notice that they all got disillusioned and split up because they got pissed off with the way Noise were treating them... sound familiar? Anyway, cheers Ironfelix - that interview made my day man!

Pretty long interview, but nice to read, since I hardly knew anything about the great Deathrow until then. I notice that they all got disillusioned and split up because they got pissed off with the way Noise were treating them... sound familiar? Yeah. At least they said that they achieved some success, though, and they were THERE, period. So at least that was cool. Only thing I wonder is--unless I missed it, since I hadn't read the whole thing yet--do they even play their instruments any more? It's one thing that they don't feel like going back to "the biz" again, but to think if those fantastic guitarists don't even PLAY any more...that'd be a damn shame
