Good point, but I actually DO have a use for a mic though. So it wouldn't be a one off thing.

They kicked ass, no doubt about it!

Is the legal stuff taken care of (i. e. doing the covers deal)?

that's good, which song you're gonna do?

That's the problem, I have no idea which one. I already asked thrasherdave for easier Coroner songs but I couldn't even play those. I could play Last Entertainment (TV Bizarre) okay-ish.
I haven't played metal songs for months now so.. [image]

As I said, I'm up for this. Albeit I'm not that good on bass nor guitar.. really depends on the song.

Well, one thing to consider is that Christmas is next week; if I get some money I'll see about getting a cheap microphone. Actually even decent ones aren't expensive anyway but it should help a little. So lets wait and see how that goes unless you're on some kind of schedule; I don't know if you'll want the whole thing bashed out in a few weeks, or maybe six months from now it won't be finished.

I couldn't really nail Ron's voice though, but it still might do.

to be honest there's no need to rush, coz for the solo and clean parts I need to buy a rackmount effect to have a good sound for recording, perhaps it's gonna take a few days (hopefully this week)

and like I said before i'd call it a personal tribute to Coroner just like those few fellow youtubers.
so just let's hope those guys come back, and someone handles the publishing part for the tribute CD.

Now, where the hell's my cord to download the files onto the computer?! Well, might be tomorrow instead...

PS - by the way where is everyone regarding this topic? I hope they login sometime soon and let us know if they ever made it ???

Sadly, this place is not very active; I'm THE top poster here, yet in five years I don't even have 450 posts. The biggest flurry of activity came a few years ago when a promoter said he wanted Coroner to unite and do a live show, which got in a lot of new members, but once that died down (Coroner refused), most of those users went too, unfortunately.

My guess is there aren't many music boards that are active in regards to groups that have been dead for over 10 years...unless those groups are like Led Zeppelin or The Beatles :P

Huh, not familiar with that Sega rig, I wonder if it was any good?

Actually I didn't have any problems with it, having a sega and a PC in one system was a big plus at that time.
